The Opportunity
CSR are seeking an experienced IT/OT Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of complex, business-critical infrastructure solutions supporting a major Operational Technology (OT) program.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you will be accountable for the technical success of end-to-end infrastructure and platform solutions across a large-scale project environment.
As the IT/OT Technical Lead, you will take ownership of the technical designand delivery of infrastructure solutions across compute, identity, security, and supporting services.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, security, operations, and vendors to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned to business and OT operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery for OT infrastructureDrive implementation planning (migrations, upgrades, transitions)Chair design reviews (DRB) and enforce standardsProvide hands-on technical leadership and troubleshootingManage technical risks, timelines, and delivery feasibilityEnsure secure-by-design and OT-safe solutions (availability, access, monitoring)Collaborate with engineering, security, vendors, and operationsProduce key artefacts (HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans)Support change control (CAB) and operational handover
About You
Degree in IT, Technology, Business or related discipline8+ years' experience in infrastructure (systems engineering, design, and project delivery)Proven experience leading technical design for large, complex infrastructure programsStrong expertise across Microsoft technologies:Windows ServerActive DirectorySQL ServerSolid experience with:Virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, shared storage)Networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls)Demonstrated experience in design governance (reviews, standards, assurance gates)Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including influencing senior leadersStrong problem-solving, prioritisation, and time management abilities
