About the Role

Activeskin is looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to lead our social presence and bring our brand to life across every platform. This is the perfect role for someone who lives and breathes social media, knows what makes content stop-the-scroll, and loves turning ideas into engaging posts, reels and stories.

You'll take day-to-day ownership of our social channels, create and publish content, manage our paid social and brand collaborations, and work closely with our marketing team to grow our audience and community.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage Activeskin's social and content calendars, ensuring alignment with planned promotional activity, and execute all daily posts including captioning and scheduling.

• Create engaging, on-brand content using Canva, CapCut and in-app editing tools, including planning, shooting and editing short-form video and platform-specific assets.

• Lead day-to-day ownership of all social media platforms, including our YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook accounts, ensuring the content aligns with brand, campaign and commercial objectives.

• Monitor and engage with the Activeskin community across all platforms, including our Broadcast Channel, comments, DMs and reactive engagement opportunities.

• Manage paid social advertising on Meta in line with our budget.

• Manage paid collaborations, brand partnerships and promotional activity with suppliers.

• Track and analyse social performance metrics to optimise content, identify trends and inform future strategy.

• Stay across cultural moments, platform updates and competitor activity to proactively identify opportunities for timely, relevant content.

• Work closely with the Activeskin marketing team on broader campaigns and support various other marketing tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.

• 1+ years experience managing social media campaigns and creating content in a similar role, preferably in beauty, fashion or lifestyle categories.

• Proven experience in social media content creation, platform management, Meta Ads Manager and contributing to social strategy.

• Skilled in shooting and editing short-form video using CapCut, Canva and similar tools, with strong visual storytelling and aesthetic judgement.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain a consistent and engaging brand voice.

• Confident analysing social performance data and applying insights to improve content effectiveness and audience engagement.

• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines at once.
