What you will enjoy doing

  • Reading, understanding, and performing all production duties in accordance with written procedures, BOC internal standards and relevant external standards acts and/or regulations.
  • Working in a safe manner in line with company Occupational Health and Safety and Loss Control policy guidelines and Western Australia Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
  • Responsible for the housekeeping within the relevant work areas.
  • Ensure product released for delivery to customers is within BOC documented specifications.
  • Ensure medical product quality (from raw material to end product) maintained as per requirements of Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) / Medsafe.
  • Ensure product losses are minimised whilst performing operations.
  • Prepare, control and monitor equipment to ensure continuous operations.
  • Monitor, record and analyse products in various stages to ensure quality.
  • Inspect & maintain equipment to ensure continuous operations.
  • Ensure that the service provided to customers, both internal and external, is the highest possible standard.
  • Reporting and discussing any issues regarding the workplace or position requirements
  • What makes you great

  • Forklift operator’s competency
  • Formal certification in relevant production activities.
  • Two years of exposure to industrial environments
  • Experience in Gas Production; specifically preparation, control and analysis of products for continuous or batch operations.
  • Ability and willingness to work day and afternoon shifts, on a rotational or relief basis if necessary.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend operating procedures, and communicate answers under test conditions.
  • An understanding and appreciation of Manual Handling.
