About the Role

As a Design & Sales Consultant at Timpelle, you will be responsible for bringing client visions to life by translating conceptual designs into detailed pre-construction drawings. You’ll guide clients through the design process, from the initial consultation to final approval, ensuring they are happy with every aspect of their kitchen design and product selections.

This role involves both creative and sales-driven tasks, requiring strong organisational skills and an eye for detail to ensure every project is completed on time and to the highest standard.

What You’ll Do

• Client Consultations: Conduct design consultations to discuss briefs, design options, and colour/material selections with clients. Finalise the colour selection schedule and handle client communications via phone and email.

• Design and Quotations: Prepare detailed quotations using Quotient software and Microsoft Excel. Create initial design sketches and utilise samples to present design options.

• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with estimating, admin, and drafting teams to ensure seamless project progression. Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and project details.

• Client Approvals: Manage client approvals and any changes to the design, ensuring files are prepared for drafting and all information is accurate.

• Sales and Upgrades: Enhance sales by recommending and selling upgrades or additional joinery to clients, ensuring they are delighted with the final design.

• Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions and supplier showcases to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

About You

• Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in kitchen design or a similar industry.

  • Experience in a consultative sales role, ideally in design or construction.

  • Strong creativity and design skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Cabinet Vision (preferred, but not essential).

  • Ability to read and understand house plans and measurements.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
