We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the collection, analysis and interpretation of market, event and business intelligence data. This role will help drive strategic decision-making, improve reporting capability and enhance client outcomes across FuturePlace’s commercial, research and event portfolios.
About the Role
As Data Analyst, you will work with data from multiple sources, including event platforms, CRM systems, market research databases and business intelligence tools.
You will be responsible for analysing complex datasets, identifying trends and preparing clear reports, dashboards and insights for internal stakeholders and external clients.
This role is suited to someone who is analytical, commercially minded and confident turning data into practical business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Collect, validate and analyse large and complex datasets from multiple sources, including event platforms, CRM systems, market research databases and business intelligence tools.
- Design and maintain data models, dashboards and reporting frameworks to support business planning and performance measurement.
- Identify trends, patterns and insights relating to industry sectors, customer behaviour, event performance and commercial activities.
- Conduct statistical analysis and data interpretation to support strategic business initiatives and client projects.
- Develop and automate regular reporting processes to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Prepare reports, visualisations and presentations for management and external clients.
- Monitor data quality and implement procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Support market intelligence and research projects through quantitative analysis and forecasting.
- Recommend improvements to data collection methodologies, reporting systems and analytical processes.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics or a related field.
- At least one to two years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Experience using data analysis and visualisation tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Experience preparing reports, dashboards and business insights for senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
