CoreBiz is seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our consulting team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and analysing the information needs of our clients, formulating system and process solutions, and producing detailed specifications and recommendations to address business requirements. Working within a consultancy environment, this role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to evaluate existing business systems and processes, recommend improvements, and support the deployment of functional solutions across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem and moving toward new systems and services for our clients. This is a permanent, full-time position.

To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working as an ICT Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or in a closely related role involving the identification and analysis of business requirements and the formulation of system and process solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating existing business systems and processes, producing requirements specifications, and recommending improvements within a technology consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, including functional solution design and configuration.
  • Proven experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI and CRM implementation.
  • Experience with Copilot Studio or equivalent AI-assisted tooling within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to liaise between business users, technical teams, and executive leadership to ensure requirements are accurately captured and delivered.
  • Experience applying project management methodologies and principles to the delivery of technology solutions.
  • Experience in delivering end-user training and change management activities to support technology adoption.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology, business information systems, computer science, or a related discipline.

Task & responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following duties:

  • Consult with clients to identify, analyse, and document business requirements, and produce detailed requirements specifications to inform system and solution design across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.
  • Evaluate clients’ existing business systems, processes, and workflows, and recommend improvements and optimal business practices aligned with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio.
  • Formulate and produce specifications for information systems by translating business requirements into scalable functional solution designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks, and long-term organisational strategy.
  • Lead the functional configuration and deployment of Dynamics 365 and Copilot Studio solutions, applying project management methodologies, principles, and techniques to deliver outcomes within agreed scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Liaise between client stakeholders, software developers, and project delivery teams, acting as the primary point of contact between business users and technical teams to ensure solutions meet documented requirements.
  • Design and deliver structured training programmes for end users and client teams, including training on Customer Insights Journeys, Power Platform and Copilot Studio, to support technology adoption and build internal self-sufficiency.
  • Provide post-implementation support through solution optimisation, proactive issue identification and resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing system effectiveness.
  • Prepare demonstrations, documentation, and communications for prospective and existing clients as part of pre-sale and engagement activities.
