We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, implementation and maintenance of software applications and systems that support business operations and client requirements. Task & responsibilities

• Analyse business and user requirements to determine software specifications and development objectives.

• Design, develop, test and maintain software applications, systems and software components.

• Develop and maintain APIs and assist with system integration activities.

• Analyse and evaluate software applications to identify opportunities for improvement in performance, functionality and security.

• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve software defects, bugs and performance issues.

• Conduct software testing, debugging and quality assurance activities.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications and user support materials.

• Assist in implementing software enhancements, upgrades and system improvements.

• Collaborate with project managers, developers and stakeholders to deliver effective software solutions.

• Ensure software applications meet performance, security and organisational compliance requirements.


Qualification & experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

•Three to Four years of relevant professional experience in software development or software engineering.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript or similar technologies.

• Knowledge of software development methodologies and software engineering principles.

• Experience working with databases, APIs, web-based applications and software testing methodologies.

• Understanding of Agile development methodologies and version control systems.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
