ICT Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will act as a vital link between business and technology teams by identifying, analysing, and translating business requirements to support the successful delivery of digital products and platforms. Task & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to support business decision-making. 
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. 
• Prepare meaningful reports and visualisations tailored to stakeholder requirements. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements. 
• Develop and deliver Business Intelligence solutions aligned with organisational objectives. 
• Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic planning and operational improvements. 
• Review existing business systems, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for enhancement. 
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand operational challenges and recommend effective solutions. 
• Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data integration. 
• Collaborate with international teams to customise BI solutions for diverse business environments and markets. 
• Ensure BI systems and reporting frameworks remain scalable, efficient, and adaptable. 
• Utilise tools such as SSIS, Power Automate, and Azure Data Factory to automate and streamline data processes. 
• Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention. 
• Present complex analytical findings in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Develop presentations and reports that convert data insights into practical business strategies. 

Qualification & experience

• At least 1 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analytics role, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding sector. 
• Demonstrated experience working for international freight forwarding organisations in an analytical capacity. 
• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development and data visualisation. 
• Hands-on experience with CargoWise One software. 
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline. 
• Relevant certifications in Power BI, Microsoft Azure, SQL, Python, or related technologies. 
• Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure. 
• Proven experience in ETL development and data integration tools, including SSIS and Azure Data Factory. 
• Working knowledge of Power Automate and workflow automation technologies. 
• Experience working with multinational teams and clients across different countries, cultures, and business environments will be highly regarded.
