We’re partnering with a leading global food solutions provider in high volume categories, an organisation with real momentum and a clear growth agenda. Our client is making meaningful investment in large-scale manufacturing to continue strengthening its position as a key supplier to Australia’s Foodservice, QSR and Retail sectors. As the New Product Development Manager, you will lead a team to bring innovation to life. You will need to roll your sleeves up to execute a large pipeline of innovation through the business whilst also building the future direction and process improvement. The key elements of the role include:Lead and manage R&D projects from initial concept / internal brief to product completion.Manage in-house and external trials where applicable.Prepare documentation of all trial/sample information including specification and costing details.Oversee shelf life validation activities in conjunction with the Laboratory Manager.Lead communication with key suppliers with regards to ingredients and samples (PDS, SL, Costs etc)Contribute to development of new procedures, systems & processes (SOP, Spec’s, Costings, Risk Management) as needed. The successful candidate will need the following:Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Food Sciences (or similar)5+ years in a similar role (food experience essential)Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organisational skillsStrong internal and external stakeholder management (essential)Proven collaborative, customer focus that develops practical solutionsCommercial acumen If you’re an established, high-performing NPD Manager and you’re ready for a role with real autonomy and opportunity, we’d like to speak with you. ✅ Please note: this opportunity is available only to candidates with full Australian working rights.
