The Role:
The Team Leader Community Compliance plays a key leadership role in overseeing the delivery of regulatory and compliance services across the City of Salisbury. You will drive strategic direction for the Community Compliance function, offering expert professional advice and high-level decision-making to protect public safety, environmental quality and community amenity. The role is responsible for ensuring strong governance, legislative compliance, risk management and alignment with Council's strategic priorities.
As the senior specialist in community compliance, you will work closely with senior management, elected members, internal stakeholders and external agencies, providing authoritative advice on complex and emerging regulatory matters. You will also contribute to planning, coordination and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service effectiveness and uphold high professional standards.
