The Opportunity

With the introduction of a second production shift, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team as a Production Supervisor.

Based at our food manufacturing facility in Edinburgh North, this role works Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 8:36pm, and reports to the Production Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our second shift, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and food safety requirements are consistently achieved.

We are seeking a motivated and proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys supporting and developing teams.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing
Experience working with structured production schedules
Proven ability to lead, motivate and support a production team
Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
Solid analytical capability
Full working rights within Australia

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Supervise and coordinate second shift production activities
Provide hands-on leadership and direction to second shift team members
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and workplace health and safety standards
Monitor product recoveries and cook losses and report variances
Escalate operational issues to the Production Manager when required
Support onboarding and training of new team members
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
Build positive working relationships within the team and across departments
