About HUBBED

HUBBED is an eCommerce technology company operating a national PUDO (Pick-Up Drop-Off) network of 2,200+ retail locations across Australia, with expansion into New Zealand, the Philippines, and five additional markets across Asia and the US underway.

We enable seamless collaboration between retailers, logistics providers and consumers — delivering greater convenience, delivery flexibility, and measurable reductions in carbon emissions to support a more sustainable supply chain.

Our mantra - Learn. Have fun. Get stuff done.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Network to lead the growth, optimisation, and governance of our national PUDO (Pick-Up & Drop-Off) network.

This role is responsible for expanding the network footprint through strategic partnerships, ensuring brand and CX compliance across all locations, and driving operational excellence across a distributed retail network.

You will play a critical leadership role in scaling a high-performing, customer-centric network that supports carrier, marketplace, and retailer clients across Australia. This is a commercial and operational role suited to someone who enjoys building partnerships and scaling multi-site networks.

What You'll Be Doing

Network Growth & Footprint Expansion

  • Develop and execute a national network expansion strategy aligned to volume growth and carrier requirements

  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard new retail and enterprise partners (e.g. convenience, pharmacy, grocery, fuel, independent retail chains)

  • Build strategic partnerships to accelerate network density in priority metro, regional, and growth corridors

  • Use data, GIS tools, and parcel volume insights to optimise coverage and accessibility

  • Lead commercial negotiations, including revenue share, service fees, and contractual terms

Network Performance & Compliance

  • Establish and enforce brand, CX, and merchandising standards across all PUDO locations

  • Develop network audit frameworks covering operational compliance, customer experience, and SLA adherence

  • Ensure consistent in-store branding, signage, device deployment, and process adherence

  • Partner with Operations and Customer Service teams to resolve systemic issues and uplift underperforming sites

  • Implement KPI dashboards to monitor performance, capacity, and compliance metrics

Commercial & Strategic Leadership

  • Own the network P&L inputs, including acquisition cost, site profitability, and ROI

  • Collaborate with carrier and marketplace teams to align network growth with commercial opportunities

  • Lead renewals, renegotiations, and contract optimisation with existing partners

  • Identify opportunities for ancillary revenue (e.g. returns programs, label printing, value-added services)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Technology, Operations, CX, and Marketing to deliver a seamless partner and customer journey

  • Align network merchandising and brand execution with national marketing campaigns

  • Support enterprise sales with network capability insights and expansion plans

  • Provide executive-level reporting on footprint growth, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing national Network team (Partnerships, Field Operations, Compliance)

  • Foster a performance-driven culture with clear accountability and measurable outcomes

  • Develop succession plans and capability uplift across the team

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years' experience in network development, retail partnerships, franchising, logistics, or multi-site operations. Consideration will be given to candidates with a flexible approach if they demonstrate a strong track record in relevant fields

  • Proven track record growing distributed retail or service networks at scale

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex multi-site agreements

  • Deep understanding of CX standards, brand compliance, and retail merchandising principles

  • Experience working with carriers, marketplaces, or last-mile logistics providers (highly desirable)

  • Data-driven mindset with experience using GIS, performance dashboards, and financial modelling

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite and enterprise partners

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Candidates must have appropriate work authorisation to work in Australia
