A little bit about the role…We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to help deliver high-impact digital campaigns across email, paid media, and onsite channels.This is a hands-on execution role focused on ensuring digital campaigns are accurate, aligned, and ready to launch across multiple channels. You’ll work closely with our Trade, CRM, eCommerce, Creative and Media teams to coordinate campaign assets, product priorities, and messaging so that our campaigns go live smoothly and perform strongly.If you enjoy working across teams, love organisation and detail, and take pride in getting campaigns live seamlessly, this role will be a great fit. This role can be based in Christchurch, New Zealand or South Melbourne, Australia. What You’ll DoCampaign Coordination & DeliveryTranslate trade campaign briefs into clear, actionable briefs for internal teams and agency partnersCoordinate campaign elements including creative assets, product lists, copy, links and landing pagesEnsure messaging, product priorities and offers are aligned across email, paid media and onsite experiencesCampaign Execution & QAConduct detailed quality checks across campaign elements including:URLs and UTMsProduct accuracy and pricingCreative and messaging alignmentLanding page functionalityCoordinate fixes across teams to ensure campaigns are launch-readySupport CRM campaign builds and digital campaign deployment processesOnsite & SEO Campaign SupportEnsure campaign landing pages are accurate and aligned to messagingIdentify and flag basic SEO issues such as broken links or missing metadataWork with SEO and content teams to ensure campaigns support organic visibilityWorkflow & Stakeholder CoordinationManage campaign timelines, asset deadlines and approvalsMaintain campaign trackers and documentationWork closely with Trade, CRM, Creative, eComm and agency partners to keep campaigns movingCampaign Learning & ImprovementContribute to post-campaign reviews with Performance and CRM teamsProvide insights into campaign execution and operational improvementsSupport identification of optimisation opportunities across channels What You’ll BringWe’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving digital environment and enjoys coordinating complex campaigns.You’ll likely bring:Strong attention to detail and campaign execution disciplineA collaborative mindset, working effectively across multiple teamsCuriosity and interest in digital marketing trends and platformsA data-informed approach, using reporting and insights to improve performanceThe ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines Skills & ExperienceDigital MarketingExposure to paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Meta or affiliate networksBasic understanding of SEO and product listing optimisationExperience with campaign tracking including UTMs and taggingCRM & Lifecycle MarketingHands-on experience with Klaviyo or a similar email marketing platformBuilding and deploying email or SMS campaignsCampaign segmentation, A/B testing and reportingAnalytics & PlatformsExperience using Google Analytics or similar reporting toolsUnderstanding of product feeds (Google Merchant Center or Meta Commerce) Why Join Kathmandu?Work with a purpose-led outdoor brand focused on sustainability and wellbeingBe part of a collaborative digital team delivering impactful campaignsGain experience across multiple digital marketing channelsOpportunities to grow your career in digital marketing and eCommerce Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at KMD BrandsAt KMD Brands, we believe that diversity makes us stronger.
