Cloud Support Engineer

Level 2.5 Support Engineer Cloud & Infrastructure Azure | Intune | VMware | Veeam | Fortinet Sydney or Melbourne One of Australia’s most respected IT services organisations is expanding its engineering team.We are hiring two Level 2.5 Support Engineers who want exposure to modern infrastructure, cloud platforms, and network environments while continuing to develop toward more senior engineering roles. This role sits in the sweet spot between support, infrastructure and cloud, working across a diverse portfolio of client environments. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex environments and want exposure to Azure, virtualisation, backup platforms and modern network security, this role offers excellent technical growth.The leader of this team has a strong reputation for developing engineers, helping Level 2 professionals move toward Level 3, Cloud, or Network Engineering pathways. What you will be doing • Providing Level 2 / Level 2.5 support across multiple client environments • Supporting Microsoft infrastructure including Azure, Intune, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory • Working across VMware, Veeam and virtualisation platforms • Troubleshooting networking environments and security appliances • Supporting modern firewalls including Fortinet, Palo Alto or similar platforms • Managing incidents and service requests through to resolution • Assisting with infrastructure upgrades, deployments and onboarding projects • Collaborating with senior engineers on more complex cloud and networking work What we are looking for• Experience working in an MSP support environment • Strong troubleshooting across Windows and Microsoft technologies • Exposure to Azure, virtualisation and backup platforms • Some networking knowledge across firewalls, switching or security appliances • Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto or similar networking technologies is highly valued • Excellent communication and client engagement skills • Engineers who want to continue growing technicallyWhy engineers join this business• Highly regarded IT services organisation with an excellent reputation • Exposure to modern cloud, infrastructure and networking environments • Leadership known for developing engineers into senior roles • Genuine technical progression opportunities • Sydney or Melbourne opportunity If you are a Level 2 MSP engineer ready to step into more advanced infrastructure, cloud or networking work, this is a great opportunity to build your career.
