The Client:

A diversified Australian trades and technical services provider delivering integrated solutions across electrical construction, infrastructure services, communications, maintenance, and signage. With over 35 years of industry experience and 900+ employees, the company supports major infrastructure, government, and commercial projects across Australia.

The Role:
  • Lead and coordinate a telecommunications field crew (3-5 workers) delivering communications infrastructure projects.
  • Provide daily direction and support to ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure JSEA/SWMS safety documentation is completed.
  • Perform hands-on telecommunications installation and maintenance work.
  • Support pit & pipe, fibre hauling, cable installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Work closely with supervisors and project managers to deliver projects safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in telecommunications infrastructure or NBN projects.
  • Experience leading or coordinating small field crews.
  • Strong understanding of pit & pipe, cable hauling, fibre, or network installation.
  • Ability to read plans and project documentation.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Current driver's licence + own transportation.
  • Can pass Drug & Alcohol Testing.

Desirable:

  • Experience working on NBN builds or network upgrades.
  • Telecommunications qualifications or certifications.
  • Traffic management or confined space tickets.
  • Experience working with civil or electrical infrastructure projects.
