Task & responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and maintaining database architecture, data structures, and naming conventions to ensure data integrity
• Establishing and maintaining backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Implementing and enforcing database policies, security controls, and documentation
• Testing database systems and upgrades, debugging and resolving issues against quality testing processes
• Liaising with security vendors and service providers, monitoring SLAs and contractual obligations
• Diagnosing and resolving server-related hardware and software malfunctions across workstations and communication infrastructure
• Monitoring and optimising network performance and planning for future infrastructure needs
• Maintaining comprehensive operational documentation and system logs

Qualification & experience

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Computer Science, IT, or similar)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Systems Administrator role
• A proactive approach to problem solving and system improvement
