ICT Support Engineer

About role

As an ICT Support Engineer, you’ll provide technical support and maintenance for ICT systems, ensuring robust network performance and high system availability. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, contributing to seamless daily operations and customer satisfaction.

Task & responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain ICT systems and infrastructure
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and uptime
• Troubleshoot system and network problems
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Support system upgrades, patches, and security updates
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity initiatives
• Liaise with vendors and service providers as required

Qualification & experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant full-time experience as an ICT Support Engineer or related role
• Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, and troubleshooting methodologies
• Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux environments
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
