Part-Time Recruitment Specialist | Remote | Flexible Hours

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Recruitment Specialist to support our growing childcare group across a range of recruitment and HR administration activities.

This is a remote role with flexible hours, ideal for someone who enjoys recruitment, candidate engagement, and supporting a busy HR function. You will work closely with our leadership and operations teams to help attract, screen, and progress high-quality candidates for roles across our early education and childcare services.

About the Role

As our Recruitment Specialist, you will assist with end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising roles, shortlisting applicants, conducting initial screening, coordinating interviews, completing reference checks, and supporting onboarding administration.

The role will also include general HR administration tasks, so we are looking for someone who is organised, responsive, and comfortable managing a mix of recruitment and people-related admin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and posting job advertisements across relevant platforms
  • Reviewing applications and shortlisting suitable candidates
  • Conducting phone screens and initial candidate interviews
  • Coordinating interviews with centre leaders and hiring managers
  • Completing reference checks and supporting compliance checks
  • Maintaining applicant records and recruitment tracking information
  • Assisting with onboarding paperwork and new starter administration
  • Supporting general HR administration tasks as required
  • Communicating professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders

About You

You will be organised, proactive, and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision. You will ideally have experience in recruitment, HR administration, or talent acquisition, with a strong focus on candidate care and timely follow-up.

Experience in childcare, education, healthcare, aged care, or another compliance-focused sector would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition experience
  • Strong communication and administration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities at once
  • Good attention to detail
  • Confidence using online recruitment platforms and HR systems
  • A professional and friendly approach with candidates
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

What We Offer

  • Part-time role with flexible hours
  • Remote working arrangement
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Opportunity to contribute to a growing childcare group
  • Varied role across recruitment and HR administration

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and a short cover letter outlining your recruitment or HR experience and your availability.

We look forward to hearing from you.
