About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced café setting, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of café-style dishes

• Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements

• Ensure food is prepared in accordance with recipes and presentation standards

• Monitor food quality at all stages of preparation and service

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety regulations

• Store food safely and manage stock rotation

• Assist with ordering and stock control

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)

• Minimum 1–2 years relevant work experience

• Ability to work in a high-volume café environment

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
