Lit Flamingo Pty Ltd are currently seeking experienced Chefs and Cooks to join their teams, in full time positions, in Kenmore and Wyong, NSW. The roles will involve working 38-40 hours per week with shifts between Monday - Sunday.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably 2. Ideally they will have completed formal training and provide evidence of this.

Duties may include:

• Regular preparation of menu or list
• Implementing new menu ideas after consultation with restaurant manager
• Leading and taking responsibility of the kitchen section
• Assisting the restaurant owner with day to day food preparation, cooking & presentation
• Communicating with restaurant manager on a daily basis
• Maintaining and monitoring food costs at required reasonable level
• Maintaining high quality food standards and procedures
• Maintaining updated knowledge of food, seasoning, proportioning, recipes and methods
• Complying with restaurant policies and procedures, and safety work procedures
• Using safe manual food handling and preservation techniques
• May be required to train junior kitchen staff, and suggestions on staff selection
• Complying with all the club's workplace policies and procedures, where applicable

Employees are also expected to maintain high standards of personal hygiene in order to present a good first impression.

A salary of $79,500 - $89,500 will be offered to the successful candidates.
