Working across South Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast, you'll deliver engaging, hands-on hospitality and barista training to secondary school students, helping them build the practical skills, confidence and professionalism required for success in the industry.

As a Hospitality Trainer & Assessor, you will deliver practical hospitality and barista training to secondary school students in both classroom and simulated workplace environments. Training will primarily occur across Brisbane's south side, Logan and the Gold Coast, with occasional regional and interstate travel required.
This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional with strong front-of-house and barista expertise who enjoys mentoring others and sharing industry knowledge.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging hospitality and barista training programs
Conduct competency-based assessments in accordance with training package requirements
Support students to develop industry-ready skills and confidence
Maintain accurate training and assessment records
Ensure compliance with RTO standards and policies
Liaise with schools, students and industry stakeholders
Travel between training locations as required
Essential Requirements
Significant hospitality industry experience
Strong front-of-house and barista skills
Strong organisation, digital capability and time-management skills
Ability to engage and motivate young people
Current Driver Licence and reliable motor vehicle
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel throughout South Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast
Current Queensland Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
Highly Regarded
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
Previous training, coaching or mentoring experience
Hospitality qualifications
Current RSA and/or RSG certification and industry experience
Experience working with secondary school students
Applicants with significant hospitality experience who do not currently hold a TAE qualification are encouraged to apply. Support may be available for the successful candidate to obtain the qualification.
