We require an energetic and qualified Chef to oversee our bustling kitchen operations. In this role, you will lead the back-of-house team, manage fresh ingredient preparation, maintain strict quality controls, and ensure that every customized pasta cup meets our high brand standards

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Kitchen & Operations Management: Overseeing everyday back-of-house operations, supervising kitchen staff, and organizing efficient workflows.
  • Menu Execution & Inventory: Preparing and cooking a wide selection of signature Italian dishes and managing a high-volume line. Estimating food/labor costs and ordering food and kitchen supplies.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitoring the quality of all dishes—including precise sauce reductions, pasta textures, and presentation—at every stage of preparation.
  • Staff Leadership & Training: Demonstrating advanced cooking techniques, advising kitchen hands on procedure consistency, and assisting with selecting and training team members.
  • Stock Optimization: Actively managing food preservation, freezing, and stock rotation to maintain maximum freshness and minimize kitchen waste.
  • Hygiene Compliance: Explaining and strictly enforcing local food health and hygiene regulations across all food prep and storage areas.

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 2.5 years of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Qualifications: AQF Certificate IV or a Diploma in Hospitality (or equivalent qualification). 
  • Work Rights: Applicants are expected to have Full Australian Working Rights. 
  • Background Check: Must hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Certificate (Police Check) for employment.
