Task & responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes, quality standards, and customer preferences.
• Menu Planning: Designing menus, calculating food costs, and testing new recipes to keep offerings fresh and competitive. Also designing Daily Specials to promote the business in the local community.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, ordering raw materials from suppliers, and minimizing food waste to control budgets.
• Staff Leadership: Supervising Cooks and Kitchen staffs, delegating prep and cooking tasks, and coordinating with front-of-house service teams.
• Health & Safety: Enforcing rigorous sanitation and hygiene regulations (such as HACCP) and ensuring all kitchen equipment is safe and clean
• Assisting Management in the hiring and training of staffs. 

Qualification & experience

• 1 Year Minimum Full time Proven experience as a Chef or Cook
• Cert IV in Kitchen Management + Diploma of Hospitality or equivalent work expereince may suffice
• Knowledge of food safety principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
