The role is not primarily a service or hospitality supervisory position — it requires a manager who can make commercial decisions, manage the full product and pricing mix, control costs, and grow the business.
Salary
$80,000 to $85,000 depending on skills, experience and qualifications.

The business has an active social media retail presence (Instagram @upsouthbondi, 51,000+ followers) and a product range that includes specialty coffee, a matcha beverage program, freshly baked goods (cookies, cookies, croissants, scrolls, brownies), an all-day brunch menu, acai bowls, smoothies, fresh juices, and alcoholic beverages.
A defining feature of the business is its weekly fresh-produce procurement model, in which the Retail Manager oversees the stock requirement and sourcing of ingredients directly from local suppliers to maintain a sustainable, fresh-product offer at competitive prices.
The business operates seven days a week and attracts both a loyal local customer base and significant visitor trade.
The scope of the retail operation - spanning physical stock management, multi-channel pricing and listing management, supplier procurement, budgeting, team management, and a digitally active brand — requires a dedicated manager operating at the Retail Manager (General) level.
