Kitchen Hand

Looking for a fun and friendly environment to work in? We are now looking for an enthusiastic Cook/Kitchenhand to join us. This will be a part-time position, potential to become full time

1-2 years experience in cafe industry preferred and you will:

• Be responsible in preparing high quality products of the following, but not limited to, aspects of the business of the company:
• - Breakfast- Lunch- Brunch- Pastries & desserts- Catering- Functions
• You will maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen as 0.6 agreed upon standards and maintain the condition of equipment and tools.
• You will be in charge and accountable for the execution of new menus & systems
• You will report directly to the Store Manager & Supervisor. Your interaction will be on a daily basis.
• You will attend regular meetings with 0.6 team and other business divisions of 0.6 Group Pty Ltd.
• Day to day activities and operations of the kitchen will include, but not limited to:
• Stock management & control – maintain proper records and systems
• Placing order in a timely manner
• Checking good received reconcile with good ordered
• Monitor and minimising wastage
• Supplier relations – check on quality and pricing
• Managing front of house and customer’s feedback – resolve issues with appropriate manner and address issues to prevent reoccurring problems.
• Working with agreed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and delivery of report through Kitchen Management Report
• Improving layouts of production flow during the daily activities
• Working toward standard costing and labour costing for the kitchen
• Working in accordance to dedicated roster plan as discussed and agreed with
