About the Home

Our Smithfield home has 74 beds and we are proud of the reputation of excellence that we have built in the local community. Only a short walking distance from Munno Para Shopping Centre and easy access to public transport including the Smithfield train station, our location ensures ongoing engagement with the local community.

The Role

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
Dusting, polishing and general tidying
Cleaning bathroom facilities
Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

We are seeking casual cleaners with flexibility to take on a dual role for Food Services (CSA) and laundry.

To be successful, you will have:

Previous hotel services experience desirable
Willingness to take direction from others
Reliability and shift flexibility
Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
Complete a police check or NDIS (Dependant on home requirements)
