Food & Beverage Staff

Food & Beverage Staff are responsible for providing excellent service to guests in restaurants, hotels, cafes, or catering events. They ensure that food and drinks are served efficiently, safely, and according to the establishment’s standards, while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and beverages.
• Handle customer complaints or special requests politely and efficiently.
• Food & Beverage Preparation:
• Serve meals, snacks, and drinks according to hygiene and quality standards.
• Assist in basic food preparation, plating, or garnishing if needed.
• Ensure beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are served responsibly.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness:
• Set up dining areas with proper tableware, cutlery, and condiments.
• Clean tables, utensils, and workstations after service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Operational Support:
• Collaborate with chefs, bartenders, and other staff to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies; report shortages.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies correctly.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and flexible with work schedules.
• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $57,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
