Job Description:

As a Bakery Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our bakery maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your meticulous attention to detail will contribute to the overall experience that our customers have come to expect from L'épi Artisan Bakery.

Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitisation of baking equipment, utensils, and surfaces.

- Clean and maintain the bakery's production areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces.

- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to waste disposal guidelines.

- Ensure that restrooms are clean, stocked, and presentable.

- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain a consistent level of cleanliness.

- Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing light bulbs or reporting repairs.

- Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe and hygienic working environment.

- Collaborate with bakery staff to address any cleaning-related needs or concerns.

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is required.

- Take pride in contributing to a clean and inviting atmosphere that reflects our bakery's values.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within a food-related environment.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols.

- Ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as part of a team.

- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation.

- Effective communication skills to coordinate with bakery staff.

- Flexibility to work (occasionally) during non-operational hours for thorough cleaning tasks.
