Pomare Dental Group is a long‑established dental practice offering all forms of dentistry in a modern, state‑of‑the‑art environment. We are looking for a full‑time Front Office Coordinator to lead our front desk team and ensure an exceptional experience for our patients from first contact to ongoing care.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the central point of the practice, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in running a smooth, organised front office. We are looking for a full-time team member (4-5 days per week).
About the Role
As Front Office Coordinator, you will be a senior member of our reception team and the go‑to person for front desk operations.
• Lead and coordinate daily front desk and reception activities• Ensure efficient scheduling, patient flow, and communication• Be the first point of contact for patients, delivering outstanding customer service• Maintain and follow established systems, protocols, and processes• Liaise closely with clinicians and the wider team to support smooth daily operations• Handle patient enquiries, billing support, and administrative tasks with confidence• Identify opportunities to improve front office efficiency and patient experience
This is a hands‑on role where you will be actively involved at reception while providing leadership and support to the front office team.
About You
You are organised, approachable, and confident in leading by example at the front desk. You enjoy working with people and take pride in creating a calm, welcoming, and professional environment.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and patient‑focused• Highly organised with strong attention to detail• Proactive, reliable, and solutions‑focused• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills• Comfortable taking ownership of the front office function• Able to support and guide other reception team members• Previous experience in reception, administration, or customer service (lead or senior role preferred)
Dental or medical experience is preferred.
