About Us
Bigfish by Getfish is bringing a fresh, modern seafood experience to the new Sydney Fish Market. Known for premium seafood and fast, friendly service, we serve freshly prepared hot seafood dishes to locals and visitors from around the world. We’re looking for energetic and customer-focused team members to join our front-of-house hot food bar team.
The Role
As a Front of House Hot Food Bar Staff member, you’ll be the face of Bigfish by Getfish. You’ll serve customers at our hot food counter, help present our seafood dishes, and make sure every guest leaves with a great experience.
Key Responsibilities
Serving customers at the hot food bar with friendly, efficient service
Taking orders and handling payments through the POS system
Preparing and plating simple hot seafood items
Keeping the food display well-stocked and presented
Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Working closely with the kitchen team during busy service periods
About You
Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced food environment
Ability to work as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
Previous hospitality or food service experience is a plus (but not essential)
