The Assistant in Nursing role provides basic physical care and assistance to patients, carers and staff. The role will attend to basic patient requests, assist in the maintenance of a tidy and clean clinical area. They may be directed to transfer patients within the organisation and assist Nursing staff with care of patients as directed.
Essential Requirements
1. Completed Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assistant in
2. Nursing) or equivalent health related experience
3. Good verbal and written skills
4. Ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment
5. Highly developed interpersonal skills
6. Ability to accept and follow direction
7. Ability to take initiative in prioritising workload
