MT. Everest Care Services Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our growing team on a full-time, ongoing basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality personal care and support services to clients across the Sydney Metropolitan area, assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life.

Working closely with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and support staff, you will play an important role in delivering person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans and organisational standards. Task & responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support services to clients in residential, community, and supported accommodation settings. 
• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and daily living tasks. 
• Support clients to maintain independence, wellbeing, and participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
• Implement and follow individual care plans and support programs to meet clients' personal and care needs. 
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health, wellbeing, behaviour, or support requirements to relevant stakeholders. 
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and incident reports in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. 
• Assist with household duties, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment. 
• Work collaboratively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and other support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services. 
• Promote the dignity, privacy, rights, and wellbeing of clients at all times. 
• Comply with workplace health and safety requirements, infection control procedures, and organisational policies and procedures.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability) or a related qualification. 
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time experience in personal care, disability, aged care, community care, or a similar role. 
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain), with strong communication and client care skills.
