Sinnamon Park Medical Centre is a GP clinic that has been servicing the western suburbs of Brisbane for over 20yrs.

We are seeking a long term Medical Receptionist to join our team at Sinnamon Park Medical Centre, full time. As a full time Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's appointment calendar
Answering and directing incoming phone calls
Collecting patient information and maintaining accurate electronic records using Best Practice software
Assisting with medical billing and administrative tasks as required
Ensuring the reception area is tidy and well-organised
Providing general support to the clinical team as needed
Opening and closing of the clinic

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist within a healthcare setting
Experience in any medical setting is acceptable, including hospitals, specialist clinics, or general practice environments
A minimum of 1-2 years of medical receptionist experience is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, doctors and other staff in a professional and empathetic manner
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
Competence with medical terminology and electronic medical record systems
Basic familiarity with Best Practice software for managing electronic medical records
A friendly, helpful and proactive attitude
A commitment to providing high-quality customer service
Australian permanent residency is required for this position
