We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven Occupational Therapist with recent clinical experience to independently manage our Inpatient and Outpatient Occupational Therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, timely occupational therapy services to enhance patients’ functional abilities and independence in daily living.

  • Deliver patient-centred, goal-oriented rehabilitation care in a safe and efficient environment.

  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

  • Manage resources and a high-volume caseload to meet the needs of patients, carers, and families.

  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including families, insurers, and external healthcare providers.

  • Recommend and facilitate appropriate therapy interventions, equipment, and home modifications.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.

  • Extensive and recent clinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.

  • Demonstrated experience managing patients with chronic and complex health conditions.

  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledge of health and aged care community services.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Experience recommending assistive equipment and home modifications.

  • Current unrestricted driver’s license.
