Overview

• Overseeing a large portfolio of SAH and CHSP
• Managing a team of staff including Community Nurses, Care Coordinators and Rostering/Admin Leader
• Reporting to a very experienced and approachable General Manager
• Role is vacant due to internal promotion
• Frequent travel not required – office-based role in Central Brisbane
• Around $135-$140k + super + NFP benefits  

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our aged care community. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional care delivery, operational excellence and a positive environment for residents, families and staff.

The Community Manager will provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team while maintaining compliance with aged care standards and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in community service management / general business / equivalent experience in the industry
• Candidates must come from a Home Care/ Community background in a leadership capacity 
• Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage operational performance
• Community Management experience and a business minded individual
• We are looking for an excellent people manager
• Broad leadership skills, including budget management, marketing to grow the business, strategic understanding, HR understanding, familiarity with rostering and case management systems
