We’re now seeking a highly capable and clinically strong Clinical Manager to join our welcoming Coolum team and help lead our 50-bed residential aged care service, including a 10-bed Memory Support Unit. This is a critical leadership role for a confident clinician who can partner closely with the Residential Services Manager to uplift clinical governance, strengthen team capability and support outstanding resident outcomes.

About the Role

As Clinical Manager, you’ll oversee all clinical operations at our Coolum facility, ensuring exceptional, evidence‑based care and leading a capable, supported and engaged nursing team. You will work in close partnership with the Residential Services Manager to drive clinical quality, strengthen staff performance, and build a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for a strong, confident clinician who brings:

  • A solid clinical foundation and strong decision-making capability
  • Leadership that guides, develops and supports RN and EN teams
  • The ability to uplift clinical governance, manage risk, and ensure compliance
  • A collaborative approach to people management and quality improvement

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and lead clinical operations, ensuring high-quality, evidence‑based resident care
  • Support, mentor and develop RNs and ENs, fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture
  • Partner with the Residential Services Manager on workforce planning, performance management and staff coaching
  • Identify and manage clinical risk, ensuring timely escalation, incident follow‑up and quality improvements
  • Lead and support accreditation, audits, and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure clinical documentation, assessments and AN‑ACC processes meet Sundale and legislative standards
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, health practitioners and internal stakeholders
  • Model best practice and drive a culture of safety, respect, transparency and excellence

What you will bring

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Proven experience in conducting audits, analysing data, and driving clinical quality improvements
  • Background as an Aged Care Clinical Manager or Clinical Nurse within aged care settings
  • Demonstrated capability in overseeing clinical governance, risk management, and compliance requirements
  • Solid understanding of the new Aged Care Strengthened Standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities
  • Current CPR certification

What We Offer

  • Total Remuneration Package value up to $146,610 p.a., comprising salary of $128,399.49 p.a. (f/t), or hourly rate: $64.9795 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.5%) and annual leave loading (17.5%).
