The Illawarra Community Mental Health Rehabilitation Service (ICMHRS) Team Coordinator is responsible for the day to day leadership, guidance and line management of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) that work within the ICMHRS. The ICMHRS provides Mental Health rehabilitation assessment, treatment, care coordination and health education for adults (aged 16-65 years), their families/carers/partners and relevant stakeholders. The role involves supervision of nursing and allied health professionals, Peer workers, and support staff. The ICMHRS Team Coordinator will provide clinical interventions and expert clinical counsel to adult consumers and their carers. The Team Coordinator will have clinical and operational responsibility for the Illawarra Community Mental Health Rehabilitation Service.

  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current AHPRA Registration or Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Qualifications and experience in mental health: • Occupational Therapy & Social Work: minimum Bachelor degree and 3 years' full time equivalent experience • Nursing: minimum Bachelor degree in nursing or equivalent with minimum 3 years' full time equivalent experience
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence

This is a temporary leave relief position until April 2027 with the possibility of extension.
