Maintenance Fitter

Plant/Site: Product Street

Primo are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our dedicated onsite team in our Production Street facility at Wacol. You will directly contribute to the reliability, safety and efficiency of our three production lines through proactive and planned maintenance.

This role will be working afternoon shift from Monday to Friday, approximately from 2:00pm to 10:00pm with opportunities for overtime and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Complete activities for production start ups and/or shutdown
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis with automation technicians and engineering
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and general mechanical tasks
  • Work with our planners and automation technicians to ensure lines are efficient and productive every day
What You'll Bring
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Willingness to learn and retain knowledge
  • Motivated, proactive and safety-conscious attitude
