About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Maintenance Support Officer (AO3/1) to join a high-performing team in Townsville. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys customer interaction, and has a strong administrative/customer service background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver efficient, high-quality customer service to customers and stakeholders
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, local suppliers, and internal/external stakeholders
  • Apply strong interpersonal skills to support negotiation, dispute resolution, and conflict minimisation
  • Contribute positively to team culture and participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy when preparing documents, reports, and updating systems
  • Perform general administrative duties as required
  • Must have a current driver’s licence

About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous call centre experience (highly desirable)
  • A solid administrative background
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy, performance-driven environment
