Henkel Adhesives is on the search for a Electrician to provide high-quality engineering and maintenance services across our manufacturing and administrative operations. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant, equipment, buildings, and infrastructure. The Electrician will also contribute to the delivery of engineering and construction projects that support business development, operational growth, and long-term sustainability.
Ensure plant, equipment, buildings, property, and infrastructure are reliable, fit for purpose, and visually maintained.
Coordinate breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities, ensuring schedules and reports are completed.
Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting electrical, automation, and equipment performance issues, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, drives, and control circuits.
Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment in line with Australian standards.
Support and contribute to engineering and improvement projects, including design, fabrication, construction, and commissioning, ensuring delivery to a high standard and on time.
Manage contractor performance, ensuring compliance with service standards, site safety rules, and environmental requirements.
Ensure all maintenance and construction work is carried out safely, intervening where unsafe practices are identified.
Analyse maintenance data to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities, including cost reduction, reliability improvement, and maintenance efficiency gains.
Training and working knowledge of relevant Australian standards and regulations.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial or industrial electrical work, preferably within the chemical industry.
Unrestricted electrical licence.
Knowledge and experience with automation systems, including PLC and/or DCS.
Experience working with electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
Ability and certification to work safely at heights.
