Technician – Aircraft Ground Support Equipment

Full-Time | Australia-Wide Travel

Join a specialised company supporting Australia's aviation industry. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (GSE), including both motorised and static systems, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, customer support, across Australia. Comprehensive product training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair motorised and static ground support equipment.

• Problem solving electrical and hydraulic faults.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on aircraft jacks, towbars, generators, and related equipment.

• Travel required to customers sites across Australia to deliver high-quality technical support.

• Be available for travel 50-75% of work time across Australia.

• Communicating directly with Customers

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate III (or higher) trade qualification in electrical disciplines.

• Any electrical trade qualification is acceptable for the Certificate III requirement.

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, which may include hydraulic.

• Hydraulic maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential.

• Minimum 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience required.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and customer service capabilities.

• Ability to work independently, reliable, self-motivated, and safety-focused.

• Current driver's licence and eligibility to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card), including police check.

• Australian work authorisation requirements will be assessed case by case.

• Work visa eligibility will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on individual circumstances.
