Automotive Technician

About the role

As an Automotive Technician at New Gen Mechanical PTY LTD, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles. This full-time position is based in Woolloongabba, QLD 4102, allowing you to contribute to the success of our thriving automotive business.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance services to ensure optimal performance and safety

• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Certificate III qualification in Automotive Technology or equivalent is required

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with demonstrated expertise in a wide range of vehicle makes and models

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify and resolve complex vehicle issues

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner

• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies

• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

• Open driver's licence is essential for this position

• Australian citizenship is required for this role
