We are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor for our Australian Office based in Sydney CBD. About The RolePrepare and review environmental assessment, risk assessment (due diligence), approval, and construction environmental management plan documentation for renewable energy projects across AustraliaIdentify and manage environmental and social risks across projects in varying stages of development to ensure legislative requirements are metSupport the tender process by providing environmental and social technical input for projects, including the coordination, management, and review of technical specialistsProvide support and guidance across the business to ensure a deep understanding of environmental and social issues, opportunities, and risksDevelop, monitor, and report on key environmental and sustainability performance indicators through the delivery of projectsProvide technical support within the business, in particular, to site project teams in the identification and management of environmental and social issues, including obtaining post-DA secondary environmental approvalsWork as part of an integrated team to further develop and maintain the Integrated Management System, including the development of procedures and associated documentationLiaison with clients, government, and regulatory authorities on environmental and sustainability issuesUndertake inspections, audits, and investigation support to projects, as required About YouTertiary qualifications in environmental science, planning, management, or engineering.5+ years’ experience in environmental assessment, approvals, and on-site construction environmental managementStrong working knowledge and understanding of Federal, NSW, and other jurisdictions for environmental impact assessment, permitting, and approval legislationExcellent written, communication, presentation, time management, and organisational skills, including fluency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Proven experience working in multidisciplinary project/program teams on a range of projects, clients, and internal and external stakeholdersCurrent driver’s license Samsung C&T Corporation is committed to building diverse and inclusive teams.
