About the role
FLANDERS is searching for an experienced and qualified Electrical Fitter to join our dedicated team at our Darra workshop. In this role, you will be responsible for electric motor & generator overhauling, testing components, repairing motors & generators, rewinding motors & generators, and rewiring motors and generators. We repair motors & generators across many industries including (Mining, Power, Water, Rail & General Industry). Our workshop team operate around our three pillars of safety, quality & efficiency to the highest level.
This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to expand their skill set, gain hands-on experience with retrofits, and increase exposure to the mining industry.
Essential Criteria
Current Queensland Electrical license (restricted license is accepted)
Experience in overhauling heavy machinery, electric motors, generators and or fixed plant equipment Electrical Fitting
Solid background in electrical fitting for motors and generators
We’re looking for a team player who is punctual, eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, prioritizes safety, and has excellent attention to detail
Someone that is energic and willing to learn on the job with our team of specialists.
