Aeronautical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Aircraft structural repairs and modifications.
• Stress analysis and simulation.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Damage Tolerance Analysis (DTA).
• 3D & 2D CAD modelling and drafting.
• Avionics upgrades.
• Ground and flight testing.
• Research and development activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable airworthiness regulations including FAR Part 23, 25, or 27.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be considered, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering (Australian or internationally recognised).
• Currently based in Australia.
• At least 3 years’ professional experience at CASR 21M level.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Talented in SolidWorks and the Microsoft Office suite.

Additional Information:

• The role is based at our office at Jandakot Airport, WA
• Remuneration is $80,000 - $90,000 per annum plus superannuation
