As an Engineering Director, you will lead the planning, execution, and oversight of diverse projects across heating, cooling, lighting, and energy management. You will manage contractors, engage with clients, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
This role involves handling a range of high-impact projects with fast turnaround times, managing up to 3–4 projects concurrently, with the potential to build out a small team to take on additional work. You will benefit from a robust onboarding and training process, working closely with the founder and project director, with the expectation that you will be self-managing and delivering project success.

Task & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Design and document energy-efficient solutions for commercial and industrial spaces.
- Collaborate with clients to problem solve and deliver solutions.
- Build and maintain client relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance for each project.
- Direct and manage contractors and suppliers effectively.
Qualification & experience
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering/ Science - Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in engineering and project management within the commercial and industrial sector
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven client engagement and stakeholder management experience
- Motivated, self-managing, and eager to grow within energy efficiency engineering
