School Finance Coordinator - St Agnes Primary School, MT GRAVATT

• Work hours: 38.00 hours per week
• Salary: Services Staff level 5 - $39.44/hour + super (School Salary Scale)
• Status: Term Time | Permanent

In this position you will be responsible for:

• The Reconciliation of accounts
• Cashier and banking duties
• Accounts receivable, including debt collection
• Accounts payable
• Report preparation
• Other administrative duties assigned as appropriate

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

• Have previous experience in accounts or finance role
• Skills in developing and implementing effective financial management processes
• Good understanding of accounting principles and account reconciliations
• Demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure with high prioritization skills to meet deadlines
• Have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Flexibility to meet the demands of the school and demonstrate initiative
• Be a skilful negotiator and communicator who is able to liaise with the school's Parent/Guardian community with empathy;
• Demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion
• For this position you are not required to be Catholic.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment. Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
