Your opportunity
You will play a pivotal role in inspiring our students to explore and grow their love of learning. Your specialist classroom music expertise will support the development of our students. We are offering the flexibility of either a part-time or full-time role. A full-time role would require the successful candidate to also cover lessons across various subject areas.
- Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging and informed curriculum programs for students in your subject area, that foster a love of learning .
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement.
- Provide high-quality assessment, feedback and reporting to support student growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Work collaboratively within a professional learning community.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events and professional development opportunities.
You will be a passionate educator who brings energy, professionalism and a commitment to student wellbeing. You will have:
- Provisional or full registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Experience in the provision of quality and relevant curriculum programs
- Highly developed classroom teaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to implement information and communication technology into teaching and learning
- Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees
- An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
