About us
For 85 years, Gowrie Victoria has been at the forefront of early learning. We are a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation with a reputation for high-quality early childhood education and care. We champion excellence and implement a play-based, emergent curriculum across our nine early learning services in Victoria.
We are known as a place for demonstration, where generations of teachers and educators have learnt and developed their practice. We build the capability of thousands of leaders, teachers, and educators each year through accredited training, blended learning, coaching & mentoring programs, and networking events.
The opportunity
Co-located with Oberon Primary School and Grovedale Primary School, our two new services provide free sessional kindergarten for 3–4-year-olds in 2026. We provide high-quality early learning to children and families in the Geelong community and build strong and lasting relationships with children, families, schools, and the local early childhood community.
We’re looking for casual educators to join our team. You will be a qualified Educator (Cert III or Diploma) with a minimum of 12 months experience. We are looking for good communicators who are able to work effectively in diverse teams and create a welcoming environment for children and families.
At Gowrie, our strength is our culture. It is built on a foundation of genuine curiosity. We encourage our people to ask questions, be reflective and bring their authentic selves to work.
Gowrie Victoria is an equal opportunity employer and a child safe organisation, committed to the Victorian Child Safe standards. You must have a legal right to work in Australia and pass an employee Working With Children Check.
