We’re looking for someone who can dream up and deliver creative workshops that help young people find their voice, build confidence and feel like the heroes of their own stories. From schools to community hubs, you’ll be at the heart of creating spaces where storytelling, curiosity and play thrive.

As our Creative Learning Lead, you’ll:

• Design and deliver creative learning programs in schools and communities
• Adapt facilitation to meet the diverse needs of children and young people
• Support volunteers and casual facilitators to shine in their roles
• Collect stories, data and snapshots to help us share the magic with the world
• Bring colour, structure and joy to program delivery (colour-coded calendars welcome!)

You’ll be great at this if you have:

• Experience in teaching, facilitation, or co-design in education/community settings
• A knack for engaging kids and young people with creativity and care
• Strong cultural awareness and a commitment to inclusion and equity
• The ability to juggle logistics and creativity with ease

About us

100 Story Building is a creative writing centre, social enterprise and registered charity dedicated to amplifying the voices of young people. We focus on children and young people who experience barriers to education and creative opportunities, especially those from culturally and linguistically diverse communities and with lived experience of socio-educational disadvantage. Through dynamic programs like Story Hubs, Early Harvest, and public workshops, we support young people to build literacy, confidence and belonging.

• Location: Head Quarters in Footscray (with off-site delivery)
• Part-time: 0.4 FTE
